Works Great

As designed, the unit hold our Magellan 3065 in the vent just great. Due to numerous odd shaping, it took a few attempts to get the fit right, but the unit has a great deal of flexibleness to fit all sorts of arrangements. The GPS slides in and out easy sufficient and even though I was initially worried with regards to a lot of slight instability, it seems to be a great deal firm. The only downside is since it was designed for a Mio Mooov, the power cord slot is in the faulty place, but that's very minor. Overall, VERY good value!

Poor fit to air vent in a Ford Focus

The air vent GPS mount did not fit very well on the vents on my 2009 Focus. I have a Magellan with a huge size screen, and it's somewhat heavy. The mount vibrated and bounced around considerably, even on somewhat smooth roads. The little gripping fingers could never seem to get a good grip on the air vent fins.

I ended up getting a vehicle specific mount made by Pro.Fit International. It works much better and was easy to install.
