Does the occupation well.

I purchased an earlier model of the bean bag mount by Garmin. Mine is black and has four distinct lobes rather of being more circular. I have a plastic mount in my primary car and wanted a temporary mount for when I rented a car. The bean bag mount has a non-skid under-surface and is filled with heavy pellets. I have employed the mount on three dissimilar car dashboards and the center consolation of a Ford Econoline. It effortlessly conformed to the respective shapes and has never slipped. It is an magnificent temporary mount. It adds numerous weight to your carry-on luggage, but the weight is what contributes to it is function.

Don't toss this one

The bean bag mount is amazingly secure on the dast, even with comparatively aggressive maneuvering. It will slide forward underneath heavy braking with a reasonably steeply sloped dashboard, but in general keeps the unit steady beneath much heavier G forces than you have any right to expect.

Garmin Bean Bag Mount for GPS

I gave this product two stars rather of only one because I evidently misunderstood what I was ordering. I own a Nuvi 350 and this beanbag plainly won't hold it in place. I modify cars often times and wanted a very portable mounting scheme to keep the GPS safe for the duration of use. I found that if I made a sudden stop, the Nuvi flew off the bag and clunked into the windshield. Save your money; do not buy this product if you want to use it with the Nuvi 350. Perhaps it's designed for use with numerous other Garmin GPS.
