good little case

I like the case but would have preferent one that had the capacity to be applied on a shoulder strap (as of a daypack). This case works fine on a belt, but I think that an attachment design which would have permitted use on a shoulder strap would significantly increase it is usefulness. Construction is excellent, padding is adequate, fit is perfect. I think that a more imaginative attachment design would have been cherished by many.

Adequate for the job

I got this case for my Garmin 60csx and it is working somewhat well. For other 60c users here's a lot of thoughts:
1. It is a bit roomy.
2. The thickness of the combined nylon exterior and felt interior is somewhat thin to offer any significant shelter in a drop.
3. It is roomy and may in all likelihood hold a bit more than just the gps unit...perhaps the cigarette adaptor.
Overall I gave it a four stars, because I was expecting thicker protection.

I use it with the Garmin GPS-MAP 60CSx

I have purchased this carrier case for use with the Garmin GPS-MAP 60CSx.
It offers good padding & shelter for the Garmin unit, but note that it is primarily a travel case. I use it to protect the unit from scratches and dents when it is in a bag full of other gadgets. You can not see the screen or access the buttons when the Garmin is packed away.
If I'm being picky, the case is perhaps a little long & loose for the 60CSx, but then I'm sure it was built to fit any of the other Garmin units which might be somewhat larger.
