5GPS for Aviation
By Grandpa
The technology has been around for years but works fine. To upgrade with Garmin, it was difficult. I in the long run got it done. Since I fly a plane with a glass panel, I use this as backup in case of electrical failure with the on-board equipment. I chose the Garmin because of reputation and the fact that the AA batteries last rather a while. The "Anywhere" GPS, that was in the running, the batteries don't last that long. I practiced with the Garmin, in my dining room, for with regards to a month and in the long run nailed it.
