Watch Revision Number!
By Maureen J. Tieman
This is a good source of map data, but watch the revision number of the queer product before buying, according to Garmin web site lastest revision of MetroGuide Europe is Version 9 with significantly bettered coverage of Spain And Portugal (believe the product shown here is version 6 ??).
More generally, my experience with GPS mapping productions for Europe has been spotty - rural roads and village/small city coverage/street names is ofttimes not very elaborate and as such not alot of help. Major highway system and intercity routes is good - MetroGuide Europe is no exception.

good coverage and much for less than city navigator
By tjz
I choked on the City Navigator price for eTrex Legend Cx, but found this instead. While it is not advertised as working, it works fine, so long as you don't want the unit to do routing for you. For my purposes, I could do w/o that and save the $165.
The only nit I have is that it is once in a while difficult to find places and attractions that you are looking for. You have to be originative w/ the names you feed into search, and keep attempting till you get it - it is in there.
This review is for v8.
