Another outstanding thing when it comes to the nuvi 255w is the text to speech which means that when the gps tells you to make a turn, it doesn`t just say turn right or left, rather it tells you the street name that you`l be turning on, for example " turn left on oak street ". The screen of the nuvi 255w is wide ( 4.3 inch ) so you see more of the road around you, and it comes loaded with points of interest (millions of them) so no matter were you go, even if you went on vacation and you don't know anything in regards to the place your in, it's not a problem, the nuvi 255w will give you the emplacement of any buying goods centers, restaurants, hotels or amusement in the area. I find it beauteous fascinating, you may just pick up and go on vacation to anyplace you want with out knowing a thing regarding the place your going to, and have a outstanding time. With the " were am I " feature, you always recognise your current location, and it will also gives you emplacements of emergency services like hospitals and police stations in that area.
