Worked as expected

When I basi purchased my Nuvi 255W I tried connecting to my PC using a USB cable I already had that was for another GPS receiver. I was competent to charge the Nuvi but I could not get my PC to recognize it and do updates to the unit. After receiving this cable I had no difficulties at all connecting and updating my Nuvi. Guess it goes to show that not all USB cables are the same.

Cable works great, permitted me to add habit car icons on Nuvi 260. Just what you need if you want to modify or update your Garmin.

Basically pointless

This is just a USB to Mini-USB cable. If you have a digital camera, you probably have one of these laying around. This is not specific for the Garmin GPS.
