Different from picture

I purchased this item from Amazon as it had the same picture as Magellan, but it was a few dollars cheaper. Upon receiving the cord it appeared dissimilar from the picture, I called Amazon. No problem, they substituted it and arranged for the return of the item. The substitute arrived and it still does not look like the part in the picture. I am marveling if Amazon is not marketing an older part, but using a picture of a new cord. The cord appears to work fine, I am disappointed that it is not the cord shown in the picture or on the Magellan web site. The Amazon cord does not have the little barrel type thing and the end that plugs into the Magellan is at a 45 degree angle.

I will say the service at Amazon is terrific.

The adaptor is very handy for programing my GPS when I am away from my car, such as in
my house or in a hotel/motel.

You need it with the Roadmaster 1700

If you buy the Roadmaster 1700 you have to buy this item.
The Roadmasters battery doesn't last a half hour. Mine came
with a broken car charger so I was glad I had purchased this
item and that my car had a plug for it.
