5I got what I wanted :)
By Mark Twain
I read lots of reviews and decisive to go with a refurbished Quest-I just to save a buck, also, I ride motorcycles and from what I read, this one may be effortlessly mounted on the bike or stick into my pocket too, so I ordered it on my B-Day and very pleased with it, it always put a huge smile on my face when I listen "Arriving destination on right.."

I have only had it for a little over a month now and only employed it in the local state, it already saved my time/gas twice huge time...I will fetch it to my mini-vacation this weekend to see how it goes...

1not user friendly
By Braelyn O'Holler
I consider myself rather competent when it comes to electronics, nevertheless I could not figure this one out at all. The dvd was not helpful and held me on the computer downloading useless garb for with regards to an hour, and the tutorial at the beginning of the manual couldn't be used without downloading all sorts of maps...which apparently costs money. I talked to the Garmin people and they said that this product has been modified due to complaints and misconceptions. It only has sufficient memory to download 3 states worth of data...so forget with regards to taking it on a cross country trip. Also, because you have to download the maps before you go anyplace you have to know where you're going.
I purchased this product to make my life easier, but it's speedily become the greatest hassle of my day!
If I could do it again I'd expended the extra cash up front and get a higher quality one. I have a friend with the touch screen and she swears by it. Make sure you in truth do your exploration before buying a GPS.

4Skeptical at primary but very pleased with the unit
By Henry Arnold
When I basi purchased this re-manufactured unit I was skeptical when it comes to the low price but I thought I would give it a shot. The screen looked littler than most I have seen and I was affrighted I would not be competent to see it. I was proven wrong on this and the unit is very user friendly within a couple of hours. I likewise have a motorcycle and bicycle which this has adapters for. The drawbacks to this unit are the littler screen and the fixed memory. I travel all over the country and I have to download the maps if I switch coasts. This is not a huge problem but the newer models don't have to do that. This has been a great initiation GPS to become intimate with the vantages of having a GPS without spending a outstanding deal of money.
